VGP builds largest industrial park in the region in Dobanovci

The company VGP has started works on the construction of an industrial park in the Dobanovci quarter in Belgrade, which should be the largest in the region, and it will offer rental of production and storage space.

VGP Park Belgrade will cover an area of 1.14 million square meters, next to the highway and Kruzni put Street in Belgrade, in the immediate vicinity of the Nikola Tesla Airport. The cornerstone for the industrial park was laid by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and VGP CEO and owner Jan Van Geet.

Vucic said that theVGP company did not take any incentives for the investment in Belgrade, but if it decided to invest in Nis and Leskovac, the state was ready to give it subsidies, with the intention of developing the south of the country.

The president pointed out that the new logistics park in Dobanovci „will improve the overall logistics capacities of the country and increase the competitiveness of Serbia in the region and additionally contribute to attracting foreign investments“.

„This year, once again, we will be champions in attracting foreign direct investments and we will again exceed four billion euros,“ Vucic said, asking the owners of the VGP company to think about investing in the south of Serbia, where investments in infrastructure were rapidly being made.
