Limit on fuel and basic food prices extended

The Government of Serbia has adopted the Decree on limiting the price of petroleum products and amended the Decree on limiting the price of basic foods.

The Government amended the Decision on the temporary ban on the export of Euro Diesel EN 590 in order to ensure the secure supply of the domestic market with petroleum products.

The extension of the temporary ban on the export of this petroleum product is valid until March 31, 2023, said the Government Office for Cooperation with the Media.

At the session, the Decree on the limitation of the price of petroleum products related to Euro Diesel and Euro Premium BMB 95 was adopted and it would be valid until March 3, 2023.

Furthermore, the Decision on the temporary reduction of excise duties on petroleum products temporarily reduced the amount of excise duties on gas oils, leaded and unleaded gasoline by five percent by the end of March 2023.

At the session, the Decree on the limit of prices of basic foods was amended, which will be valid until March 31, 2023, and it was adopted in order to protect the market, i.e. to prevent deformations in the formation of prices that are extremely important for supplying consumers.
