Chinese companies are biggest exporters from Serbia

The value of the export of top 15 exporters in Serbia in the first three months of this year was 1.8 billion euros, and the biggest exporters are three Chinese companies – Zijin Mining in Brestovac, which owns the Cukaru Peki mine in the vicinity of Bor (276.8 million euros), the owner of the Smederevo Steel Plant HBIS Group (234.7 million euros) and Zijin Bor Copper (210 million euros), the Ministry of Finance announced.

Naftna industrija Srbije (NIS), with the export of 147.5 million euros, is ranked fourth, and the fifth is Pirot-based Tigar Tyres, whose export amounted to EUR 131.2 million.

Who are the other top exporters?

Henkel Serbia with the export of 112.7 million euros, Leoni from Prokuplje with the export of 97 million euros, ZF Serbia from Pancevo with 80.9 million euros are also on the list of the top exporters.

These are followed by Yura from Raca with 77.3 million euros, Petrohemija from Pancevo whose export is worth 76.9 million euros, Robert Bosch with 72.5 million euros, Impol Seval from Sevojno with 67.7 million euros, Hemofarm from Vrsac with 67.1 million euros, Grundfos from Indjija with 64.8 million euros and Filip Morris from Nis with 50.7 million euros.

Export value in 2021: EUR 5.5 billion

The value of the export of top 15 exporters in Serbia in 2021 was EUR 5.5 billion, and the biggest exporters were the owner of the Smederevo steel plant HBIS Group, whose export was worth EUR 752.7 million, and Zijin Bor Copper with export of EUR 750.3 million.

Naftna industrija Srbije (NIS) with the export of EUR 481.9 million is ranked third, while ranked fourth is Pirot-based Tigar Tyres, whose export was worth EUR 430.3 million.

On the list of the biggest exporters, ranked fifth is Zijin Mining from Brestovac, which owns the Cukaru Peki mine in the vicinity of Bor, with the export of EUR 392 million.
