Vucic tells citizens: Spend money, there will be no problems in the country

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has said that the banking and financial system as a whole and public finances in Serbia are in extremely good condition.

„The banking system has full stability and liquidity, foreign exchange reserves are at a historical maximum of 21.2 billion euros. We bought 400 million euros this year by intervening on the foreign exchange market, gold reserves are growing and they are the highest in history, supervision is only at one point, which is the National Bank, there are not many intermediaries,“ Vucic said.

At the moment, Serbia has 546 billion dinars, i.e. five billion euros in its account, as he said. Vucic pointed out that Serbia no longer had to take anything on the international foreign exchange market, there was enough money for everyone.

„Money is increasing in price and there will be more problems, we have done a big thing,“ Vucic said.

He stated that five million kilograms of salt would be procured because salt was the only food that was not produced in the country. He said it was also planned to buy 40,000 tons of NPK mineral fertilizers and 50,000 tons of urea or vice versa, because it was important for farmers.

„We will buy some wheat from the first yield, there is enough corn, so we will buy more wheat from the second yield. There is enough of everything, the situation with money is very good, people, spend as much as you want, there will be no problems,“ Vucic said.

The president of Serbia told the citizens to spend money because there would be no problems in the country.
