The Russian vaccine is coming to us: 20 control doses of Sputnik V.
By the end of this week, 20 doses of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine for laboratory control will arrive in Serbia, announced the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Denis Manturov in a conversation with the Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabic.
Brnabic and Manturov talked during the video conference, and the Russian Minister informed the Prime Minister of Serbia about the production of the Russian vaccine Sputnik V against the coronavirus, the Serbian government announced.
Brnabic said that Serbian government, together with the President of the Republic, is working to make the coronavirus vaccine available to Serbian citizens as soon as possible, and pointed out that the goal is for citizens to be able to choose which vaccine to receive, in accordance with recommendations and approvals of competent health institutions of the Republic of Serbia.
According to her, Serbia is interested in considering the possibility of joint production of a vaccine against Covid-19.
The Prime Minister will continue the conversation with representatives of the company Pfizer on Tuesday, December 1st, it is stated in the announcement of the Government.
