The Danas daily: Privatization of “Tanjug” to happen this month
The “Tanjug” news agency, which was terminated based on decision of the Serbian government on October 31st, 2015, will be privatized in October, the Danas daily announced in its Monday issue.
Newspaper reports that this information was reveled to the Dialogue Team, consisting of several newspaper and media associations, by member of the Coordination Group of the Serbian government for Media Cooperation Suzana Vasiljevic at the meeting held on Friday, September 28th.
Newspaper also reports that at the time she did not explain how legal obstacles, created by termination of “Tanjug”, will be resolved.
Interested parties will have an opportunity to purchase a brand, since “Tanjug” has no assets.
