The Arabs are establishing a medical university in Serbia

Thumbay Group, the biggest company which deals with healthcare services and education in the United Arab Emirates, will invest more than EUR250 million in establishing a new medical university in Serbia, construction of a students’ campus and a clinic.

The total number of employees at the Gulf Medical University and the Thumbay Hospital should be around 5,000 and would include employees ranging from technical staff, medical nurses and technicians to various medical specialists, Serbian Ministry of Education has announced.

„During October or early November, there will be a meeting where we will discuss the location for the construction of a comprehensive medical campus, which will have a new university, clinic and student accommodation facilities. The new university will have more study programs and will be an excellent opportunity for domestic, but primarily for foreign students,“ Minister of Education Mladen Sarcevic has said.
