Italian salad plant in Ruma
Italian salad plant „La Linea Verde“ has been opened in the village Dobrinci near Ruma with 70 employees, and in its full capacity during three-year project realization it will have 150 workers.
The plant spreads across 6.000 square metres and it will produce and package salad meals, and as it is stated at the opening, small agricultural households will have an opportunity to be business associates of this Italian investor that is focused on export.
The Serbian Minister of Agriculture of Branislav Nedimovic has told reporters that state approved 24 projects in processing sector and genetic improvement of livestock fund.
He has explained that one of such projects is the “La Linea Verde” plant, which based on his words represents “Juventus” in processing industry.
