SCC is taking EMERGENCY MEASURES due to crisis in Ukraine: There are two main problems
The Serbian Chamber of Commerce (SCC) has announced that it will take urgent measures to mitigate the consequences for companies caused by the events in Ukraine, which are related to the collection of receivables and transport.
The companies are advised to make good evaluations when making decisions on new deliveries of goods to the Russian, Belarusian and Ukrainian markets, it was pointed out at the extraordinary session of the SCC Management Board.
As stated, in the near future, the SCC will prepare a concrete and realistic proposal of measures to help the most vulnerable companies, which will be sent to the Government of Serbia.
President of the SCC Marko Cadez pointed out that the Chamber was in constant communication with businesses, that solutions were being sought for the problems faced by the companies in the field and in payment transactions.
He recalled that the SCC reacted immediately to the crisis in Ukraine and formed the Crisis Team to monitor the situation and a call centre as the only official point of communication with the businesses as soon as possible.
He called on businessmen and companies to share with the SCC all the information related to doing business with the countries affected by this crisis.
