RZS: Serbia’s annual GDP growth is 7.5 percent

The real growth of the gross domestic product (GDP) of Serbia in the fourth quarter of 2021, compared to the same period last year, amounted to 6.9 percent, said the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia (RZS).

Serbia’s GDP growth in the first quarter was 1.2 percent, in the second 13.4 percent and in the third 7.7 percent, therefore, the annual growth was 7.5 percent.

The turnover of goods in retail trade in Serbia in December 2021, compared to the same month last year, was higher in terms of current prices by 22.7 percent, and in terms of constant prices by 11.2 percent.

In 2021, the turnover of retail goods compared to 2020 was higher in terms of current prices by 15.9 percent, and in terms of constant prices by 10.3 percent, according to the RSZ.
