The Deposit Insurance Agency has launched a public call for the sale of the remaining part of the portfolio of receivables that the Agency claims on behalf of the Republic of Serbia and seven Serbian banks in bankruptcy – Nova Agrobanka, Univerzal banka, Jugobanka, Beogradska banka, Beobanka, Privredna banka Beograd and the bankruptcy estate of Invest banka.

These are receivables from banks whose bankruptcy administrator is the Agency, with a total value of EUR 317.8 million, of which EUR 279.1 million are receivables from banks in bankruptcy, while the amount of EUR 38.1 million is claimed by the Agency on behalf of the Republic of Serbia.

This portfolio follows the successful sales of the so-called pilot portfolio and the large portfolio of receivables, with a total nominal value of over two billion euros, the Ministry of Finance said in a statement.

Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia and Minister of Finance, Sinisa Mali,  has said that this is the last part of the portfolio of banks in bankruptcy of this type that the state plans to sell.
