STADA invests EUR 10 million in expanding production
Hemofarm, the leader on the pharmaceutical market of Serbia and the region, one of the ten largest exporters in Serbia, by investing EUR 10 million in the reconstruction and procurement of new production equipment, is expanding its portfolio and launching the production of the internationally famous brand Nizoral, a dandruff shampoo.
In 2019, the STADA Group purchased the production portfolio of Nizoral shampoo from the Johnson&Johnson company and decided to transfer the production of these world-renowned brands to the Hemofarm production plant in Sabac.
The approved investment of EUR 10 million was used for the reconstruction of the old blister packaging department, as well as for the procurement of production equipment for as many as five new lines, which further expanded the production portfolio of the company’s liquid forms.
The first phase of the reconstruction was completed in June 2022, when the production lines were put into operation.
