Post offices soon at Knez Petrol gas stations
Zoran Djordjevic, Acting Director of the public postal company „Posta Srbije“ and Zlatko Anicic, CEO of Knez Petrol, signed a business cooperation agreement that will enable the expansion of the postal network through contractual post offices within the petrol station system of this petroleum company.
„In accordance with the growing needs and modern demands of users who demand that all the services, including those of the post office should be as accessible to them as possible, Posta Srbije is rapidly working on the expansion of the postal network, and one of the ways is our innovative concept of opening contractual post offices in cooperation with business partners throughout the country. Thus, in addition to postal counters that already provide services in leading trade chains, postal services will soon be available to customers at the petrol stations of Knez Petrol, the only domestic petroleum company. Posta Srbije, as one of the leading national companies, thus realizes its socially responsible role in two aspects – we enable the growth of the economy by providing partners with additional revenues through cooperation with Posta and we contribute to reducing unemployment through the creation of conditions for new employment within contractual post offices,“ said Zoran Djordjevic, Acting Director of PE Posta Srbije.
At Knez Petrol petrol stations, modern automated parcel lockers of Posta Srbije will also be available to customers – a new service based on the digitalization of business processes, which will enable citizens to pick up their parcels in a comfortable manner, at a time and place that suits them. Within the framework of the cooperation defined by the contract between Posta Srbije and Knez Petrol, the first automated parcel locker was installed at the premium petrol station of Knez Petrol, which was officially opened in Simanovci, at 2 Kapetana Svetislava Krstica Street.
