    New GERMAN investments: Jobs for 1,100 workers, salary EUR 1,700

    German companies Brose and MTU will open their plants in Serbia, and on that occasion contracts were signed with the representatives of Serbia. Investments are worth EUR 300 million. President Aleksandar Vucic said that 1,100 people would be employed in the car part factory, which the German company Brose would open in Pancevo, and that the average net salary would be EUR 1,700. „We have signed a contract with Brose and they are opening a factory of electric engines in Pancevo and they will employ 1,100 people, 460 of whom with university degrees. This means work and life not only for Pancevo, but also for entire South Banat, for Kovacica, Vladimirovci,“ Vucic said after signing an agreement in the field of economy and education with the German companies Brose and MTU. He added that the average salary in Brose would be EUR 2,700 gross, i.e. EUR 1,700 net. He also said that a contract on dual education was signed with the company MTU in Nova Pazova, which dealt with repair and maintenance of aircraft engines. Vucic said the value of the two investments totaled around 300 million euros, which was a huge benefit for the whole country.
