NBS revised the estimate of GDP growth
The National Bank of Serbia (NBS) has revised the estimate of growth of gross domestic product (GDP) in 2018 from 3.5 to four percent, Governor Jorgovanka Tabakovic has stated today.
She has said at the presentation of the inflation report that faster than expected growth of construction industry and agriculture influenced on the central bank to estimate that this year’s GDP will be higher than initial estimate.
According to NBS forecast, GBP growth in 2019 will be 3.5 percent, confirming the initial estimate.
