Mihajlovic: Zijin’s Jama MINE CLOSED in Bor

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Mining and Energy Zorana Mihajlovic has said that, for the purpose of environmental protection, Zijin’s Jama mine in Bor was closed and that the company must fully complete the new wastewater treatment plant by April 30 in order to protect the Pek River from pollution.

As a guest in Uranak TV show on K1 TV, Mihajlovic said that now the ministries of energy and environmental protection were working together, which had not been the case before, and that inspectorates were in the field day and night, both on watercourses and in mines.

In summer, first calls for co-financing the replacement of door and window frames

Mihajlovic also announced that the Energy Efficiency Directorate would start operating in June, which would co-finance up to 50 percent of the costs of replacing door and window frames in households, and that the first public calls would be realized by the end of the summer.
