„Last year, almost 8,000 foreigners came to Serbia to work“

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic has said that during last year, 11,119 foreign citizens received temporary residence permit in Serbia, 7,740 of whom came here to work.

She recently stated that „in just a year“, the number of foreigners who came to Serbia on business increased „almost two and a half times“.

„According to all the statistics we monitor, we have more and more foreigners who want to come to Serbia. Last year, 11,119 foreigners were granted temporary residence permit in Serbia, 7,740 of whom came here to work“.

These are the people from 133 countries of the world, and in just a year, the number of newly arrived foreigners who came to Serbia on business spiked almost two and a half times, the Prime Minister said.
