    Kopaonik Business Forum begins, central topic – sustainable development

    The 29th Kopaonik Business Forum starts at Kopaonik, and it will gather 1,000 participants until March 9, with the central topic being „Serbia 2030: Sustainable Development Agenda“.

    Three plenary sessions will be held during four days, as well as 33 panels at which about 200 participants will speak.

    According to the representatives of the organizers, the Alliance of Economists of Serbia, the participants will try to provide answers to the most important economic and social challenges that Serbia faces, and to the question where they see Serbia in 2030.

    They point out that Kopaonik Business Forum is a platform for an argumentative, constructive discussion and critical analysis of everything done so far, as well as defining sustainable economic policy.

    Minister of Finance of Serbia Sinisa Mali, Governor of the National Bank of Serbia Jorgovanka Tabakovic, Minister of Mining and Energy Zorana Mihajlovic, Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Tomislav Momirovic will speak at the event, among others.

    Minister of Labor, Employment, Veterans’ and Social Affairs Darija Kisic, Minister of State Administration and Local Self-Government Marija Obradovic will also participate, and the economic forum will be closed by Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabic.

    The representatives of the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, economists and businessmen from the country and the region will also participate in the Kopaonik Business Forum.

    Interested parties will have the opportunity to hear the opinion of leading domestic analysts regarding the forecasts of economic activity, as well as the results of economic policy in Serbia in 2021.

    They will also consider digitalization, the IT sector, startups, the scope of macroeconomic policy in Serbia, a sustainable health system. The presentation of the Index of Reputation of the Serbian Industry was also announced.

    The topics will also include the future of Europe, ecologically sustainable construction, energy policy in Serbia, infrastructure investments, cashless payments, green transition, agriculture, regional cooperation, tax administration reform, education, analysis of business conditions in Serbia from the point of view of investors.
