Kisic joyously working on the „Youth Guarantee“ program

The Minister of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs, Darija Kisic, said that the work is being done in preparation of the Implementation Plan of the „Youth Guarantee“ program, which is of great importance for that population, her Office announced.

Kisic pointed out at the workshop for preparation of the Implementation Plan of the „Youth Guarantee“ program, that it is one of the projects and programs „where it is a real joy to take part in its preparation and implementation.“

She added that the program means that young people receive a quality job offer, continued education, internship, or training within four months of entering the unemployment status or completing formal education.

According to her, at the Second EU-Western Balkans Ministerial Meeting, held in Slovenia two years ago, Serbia confirmed the Western Balkans Declaration on the Sustainable Position of Youth in the Labour Market, thus agreeing to work on the gradual introduction of the „Youth Guarantee“ program.

Kisic reminded that the Serbian government established a Coordination Body for drafting and monitoring the Implementation Plan of the „Youth Guarantee“ program in January this year, pointing out that an expert group was also formed at the time to work on preparation of the Implementation Plan.
