INGENIOUS idea: The bridge in Nis is BEING RENOVATED longer than the CONSTRUCTION of an Empire State Building
The renovation of the bridge in Nis has been “prolonged” for so long, that a website measuring how long the works last has been launched and compares that time with some large global construction projects, but not only construction projects.
The trip to Mars, Christopher Columbus’ first trip to America, the construction of the Empire State Building – are some of the human achievements that were completed faster than the Fortress Bridge in Nis, which renovation currently lasts 510 days. Those achievements can be found on the site “Je l’ gotov most” launched by the citizens.
The list on the website also includes the construction of the Sava Centre, which was completed in 340 days, a thirty-storey hotel in China, which was completed in 15 days, as well as two Balkan wars that lasted a total of 283 days.
Administrators also stated that Dong Yao-hui walked the entire Great Wall of China in 508 days, which is the last achievement so far that was completed faster than the bridge in Nis.
The Trip to Mars and back, construction of the Titanic and construction of the Eiffel Tower are on the “waiting list”.
Residents of Nis describe on social networks the idea of launching this site as ingenious, asking if the bridge on the Nisava River will break all records and if there will be a grand opening and a spectacle when it is completed. Furthermore, they also give new suggestions, both on social networks and via e-mail email@example.com.
It is not known who the author of this website is.
Let us remind you, the deadline for the completion of works on the 50-meter-long bridge on the Nisava River, which began on March 3rd last year, was initially 4 months, but it has not been completed yet.
