Increased quotas for wheat and flour export
The Serbian government has adopted an amendment to the decision on the temporary limitation of the export of basic agri-food products important for the population, which allows for an increase in quotas for the export of wheat to 220,000 tons and wheat flour to 23,000 tons on a monthly basis.
„This decision was made given that the domestic market supply with these products is stable, and given that, by analyzing the stocks, it was determined that the market surplus was higher than the quota stipulated for May, so it is necessary to free up storage space for new quantities, i.e. products,“ the Government of Serbia said in a statement.
At the session, an amended Regulation on the distribution of incentives in agriculture and rural development in 2022 was adopted, allowing the payment of milk premiums in the amount of RSD 5 more for the first quarter of the current year.
