In the first six months there were about 1.9 million tourists in Serbia

In the first six months of this year, there were about 1.9 million tourists in Serbia in total, which is 11% more than in the same period last year, the Tourist Organisation of Serbia (TOS) stated.

Of the total number of guests, as it is said, a bit more than a million, i.e. about 52 percent, were guests from Serbia, which is nine percent more than last year.

It is added that 925,000 foreign visitors visited Serbia, which is 14% more than in the first six months of last year.

In the period January-July 2018, there was a total of about 5.4 million overnight stays, which is 12 percent more than in the same period last year.
