German sanitaryware manufacturer builds factory in Valjevo worth EUR 85 million
The German company Hansgrohe, which produces sanitary equipment, has signed a contract for the construction of a faucet factory in Valjevo, and the value of the investment is 85 million euros.
The agreement signed in the Presidency of Serbia with the Ministry of Economy stipulates the beginning of the construction of the factory, covering the area of 130,000 square meters, at the beginning of 2022, and production will start in 2023. The factory is planned to employ up to 1,000 people.
As confirmed by the representatives of the German company, the Government of Serbia has provided significant support for their investment.
Hansgrohe has about 5,000 employees and it delivers 70 percent of its production in Germany, France, China and the United States to more than 140 countries.
