Ekostar Pak joins SEPEN to conduct a study on packaging waste
The Association for Packaging and Environmental Protection – SEPEN and Ekostar Pak, the second largest national operator of the packaging waste management system in Serbia, signed a contract of cooperation in conducting a study on packaging waste in Serbia.
„This study will provide information on the results and functionality of the existing system and, more importantly, it will provide suggestions for its improvement. One of the important conditions for this is cooperation with Ekostar Pak, which we have just formalised,“ said Srdjan Susic, Secretary General of SEPEN.
The members of SEPEN: Ball Packaging Europe, Coca-Cola HBC, Tetra Pak, Knjaz Milos, Terra Production, Marbo PEPSICO, HEINEKEN, Apatinska Pivara and Carlsberg are financing the „Study on the current state of the packaging waste management system in Serbia and recommendations for its improvement“. On September 11, 2018, they were joined by Ekostar Pak.
