Danas daily: Administrative Court annuls decision on Sinisa Mali’s PhD thesis

The Administrative Court has annulled the decision of the Senate of the University of Belgrade, which annulled the doctorate of Minister of Finance Sinisa Mali, after the Committee for Professional Ethics of the University concluded that his doctoral dissertation was plagiarised, the Danas daily unofficially finds out.

According to the sources, that information was announced by the rector of the University of Belgrade, Ivanka Popovic, at the extended Rector’s Collegium, which is in progress.

As a reminder, the Senate of the University of Belgrade unanimously annulled the degree of the Doctor of Science to Minister of Finance Sinisa Mali on December 12, 2019, based on the decision of the Committee for Professional Ethics of the Belgrade University, which determined that his doctoral dissertation was plagiarised.

Mali then filed an appeal with the Administrative Court against the decision of the Committee for Professional Ethics of the University of Belgrade.
