Car Show is over: THE MOST EXPENSIVE models cost several hundred thousand euros

The biggest car and motorcycle event held in the world in March – 55th International Motor Show and 15th International Show of Motorcycles, Quads, Scooters and Equipment „Motopassion“ – is over.

The official data on 102,239 visitors, registered between March 22 and 28, 2023 at the entrance gates of the Belgrade Fair, also testifies to the success.

The Motor Show was held in the conditions of global economic, energy, communication, technological and market changes in the automotive industry, caused, among other things, by the consequences of the global pandemic and then the Ukrainian crisis, the shortage of parts and components, major technological changes and new concepts of business. This fact also caused the absence of a commercial effect and the usual fair discounts and the availability of vehicles for fast delivery, the organizers said in a statement.

Nevertheless, the Serbian Association of Importers of Vehicles and Parts, which brings together all the players on the Serbian car and motorcycle market, managed to gather all its members, which means all brands, around the idea and plan to prepare as many novelties and premieres as possible for the Belgrade Motor Show.

In the final round, this year’s International Motor Show brought together 250 exhibitors, who presented 33 automotive and seven light commercial vehicle brands with more than 40 premieres. 60 exhibitors gathered at Motopassion, with more than 40 brands of motorcycles, quads and scooters and a large number of brands of motor equipment. Noting that the motor show sector has shown the highest expansion in terms of the number of brands, models and novelties.

In the redesigned exhibition space, Hall 3 of the Belgrade Fair was intended for premium brands – Mercedes, Maybach, BMW, Mini, Maserati, Audi, Porsche. All the other car brands were in Central Hall 1: Volkswagen, Nissan, Chery, Skoda, Subaru, Geely, Volvo, Kia, Mazda, Renault, Dacia, Hyundai, Ford, MG, Citroen, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Jeep, Suzuki, Peugeot, Opel, Toyota, Honda, Seat and Cupra. Exhibition exhibits within the Motopassion Fair were located in Hall 4, light commercial vehicles in Hall 3A, and accompanying automotive equipment in Halls 2 and 1A.
