Atlantic finds strategic partner for Palanacki kiseljak
Vik Pro Univerzal d.o.o., a company with many years of experience in the segment of water and soft drinks, continues the strategic development of business operation.
Atlantic Group has signed a purchase contract with the company Vik Pro Univerzal d.o.o. for the sale of the production site Palanacki kiseljak in Smederevska Palanka. The subject of the purchase is the entire production site with all the assets, including the traditional mineral water brand on the Serbian market – Karadjordje, and the new owner also takes over the employees of Palanacki kiseljak. At the location, Atlantic Group primarily produces and bottles products for the Cockta brand, and it will continue with these activities in a service-provision form.
Strategic buyer, company Vik Pro Univerzal d.o.o. based in Belgrade, has many years of experience in the segment of water and soft drinks, so far primarily in the field of trade, and it has the vision and ambition to develop Palanacki kiseljak and its employees in the long-run, which is a good prospect for this location. The sale of this production site is part of the process of disinvesting smaller and non-core activities in accordance with Atlantic’s corporate strategy.
