AIK Bank successfully completes process of acquisition of Sberbank Serbia

AIK Bank has obtained the consent of the National Bank of Serbia and the competent regulatory bodies, thus fulfilling all the conditions for acquiring Sberbank Serbia.

AIK Bank will increase its market share in Serbia to as much as nine percent and with the value of its new balance sheet assets it will become one of the most important banks in Serbia, and more importantly, this will further ensure the security of the deposits of all the clients, the press release says.

With the successful completion of the process initiated last year, AIK Bank will increase its customer base by more than 180,000 natural persons and legal entities, while the total assets of the banking group will increase by 1.7 billion euros.
