
According to official RGZ data, inflation in Serbia is 15 percent
Annual inflation in Serbia in October this year was 15 percent, and monthly 1.9 percent, the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia announced today.
Compared to December 2021, consumer prices that are used to measure inflation increased by an average of 13.5 percent.
Observed by the main groups of products and services in October this year, compared to the previous month, the increase in prices was recorded in the groups Restaurants and hotels (4.1 percent), Food and non-alcoholic beverages (3.5 percent), Clothing and footwear (2.2 percent), Equipment for housing and current maintenance (1.7 percent), Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels (1.5 percent), Education (1.3 percent), Transport (0.6 percent), Recreation and culture (0.5 percent), as well as in the groups Alcoholic beverages and tobacco, Communications and Health (by 0.2 percent).
Prices of other products and services have not changed significantly, the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia announced.
