Vucic „IS NOT HIDING ANYTHING“: Here is what happened with the ENERGY system

At the session of the Government of Serbia, President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, has explained what was happening with Elektroprivreda Srbije in the previous days and what steps were taken.

Vucic said that he did not want to hide anything from the citizens of Serbia. He claimed that the utility services had done a good job, but that an energy collapse occurred.

„According to the latest information, 0.38 percent of consumers in Serbia have no electricity. The percentage is good, considering the weather conditions,“, said the president, adding that the power distributor Elektromreze Srbije functioned perfectly and that they raised 50 percent of their system capacity.

The president said that the situation was the most difficult in the area of the Moravica District, in the part of the Kolubara and Zlatibor districts. The situation was the most severe on the territory of Ivanjica. We still have about 1,800 households whose electricity is cut off. In the vicinity of Valjevo and Cacak, there are places where there is no electricity, said Vucic.

He added that the key problem was what happened with Elektroprivreda Srbije. He said that he had received a report from Minister Zorana Mihajlovic.
