
55.7% more tourists in Serbia in September than a year ago
In September this year, a total of 393,856 tourists were registered in Serbia, which is 55.7 percent more than in September 2021, as well as a total of 1.3 million overnight stays, i.e. 45.7 percent more than in the same month last year, the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia (RZS) announced today.
The most visited spas in September were Sokobanja, Vrnjacka Banja, Banja Vrdnik, Palic and Lukovska Banja, and among the mountain centers Zlatibor, Kopaonik, Tara and Fruska gora.
In the first nine months of this year, a total of 2.8 million tourists were recorded in Serbia, i.e. 50.6 percent more than in the same period last year, while a total of 9.3 million overnight stays were recorded, which was 32.3 percent more than in 2021, the Statistical Office of Serbia announced.
