Zorana vs. Drobnjak: There will be no increase in motorway toll… by the end of the year

The Director of “Putevi Srbije” Zoran Drobnjak does not give up on demands to increase the price motorway toll, and today juridical Minister Zorana Mihajlovic has also addressed the public on the matter.

There will be no increase in price of motorway toll in Serbia by the end of the year, Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic has announced, saying that there have been talks about the introduction of toll on the main highways for trucks, but such decision has not yet been made.

Mihajlovic has stated with RTS that there were no talks about price increase of motorway toll, the official proposal has not been sent yet, and that decision on price increase of motorway toll is made by the Government, the Ministry of Finance and juridical ministry.

“We still have not received even the official proposal. There are different wishes of “Putevi Srbije” in that sense, we will see about that. However, there was absolutely no discussion on the topic of motorway toll and increase in its price by the end of the year,” Mihajlovic says.
