Young British entrepreneurs victorious at the competition in Belgrade (VIDEO, PHOTO)
A student company „Sure Light“ from Great Britain is the winner of the European competition of best student companies, in which 39 student companies from 37 countries took part and which was held in Belgrade.

This company earned this recognition at the gala dinner in Expo Centre thanks to their product, that being smart algorithmic lights for bicycles that increase driver’s safety (for example when bike decelerates lights are more intensive, as a sign to other participants in traffic).
The second place went to the company „OKelvin“ (Italy) for production of a photochromic label for food and beer packaging that indicates an ideal temperature for consumption, and third place went to „Bugman’s Best“ (Finland) for chocolate candy bars made of home-grown crickets.
Special awards of the company “TeleGroup” were also presented at the event, such as „Best Business Philosophy Prize” awarded to student company “Helm.et” from Greece for smart helmets for motorcyclists that are connected to the engine and disable it from running if helmet is not on the head, while “Manpower Ready for Work” award went to the company “Kunsten A Glede / Art of Joy” of Norway for sale of t-shits designed by children treated at the Oncology Ward of an Oslo based hospital. Profit of this student company will be used for organization of entertainment activities for children of that ward.
This competition was successfully organized by Junior Achievement Serbia together with Junior Achievement Europe, and with the support of the Ministry of Economy, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the European Commission, as well as major companies such as AT&T, AXA, CITY, Delta Air Lines, FedEx, ManpowerGroup, Oracle and TeleGroup.
