Wizz Air celebrates delivery of 170th Airbus aircraft
Wizz Air, the most sustainable airline with the highest growth rate in Europe, is celebrating the delivery of the 170th Airbus aircraft, which will support operations at Catania International Airport.
Wizz Air has a fleet of ultra-modern aircraft of the Airbus A320 family, and with the arrival of the new A321neo, this airline strengthens its position as the biggest operator of this type of aircraft in Europe.
The new Airbus A321neo, which joins Wizz Air’s fleet, is distinguished by the latest technologies in aviation and offers significant environmental benefits, such as reducing the noise footprint by almost 50%, fuel consumption by 20% and emissions of nitrogen oxides by 50%.
Wizz Air’s ultra-modern and efficient fleet is one of the youngest in the world, with an average age of 4.6 years.
