Vesic: In January, the outcome of negotiations with Delta on the Sava Centre will be revealed
Deputy Mayor of Belgrade, Goran Vesic, has said that the renovation of the Sava Centre requires between 25 and 35 million euros and that the company Delta applied to the call for public-private partnership.
Vesic told TV Happy that the negotiations with the company of Miroslav Miskovic were in progress and that it would be revealed in January whether the final agreement was reached.
„Namely, the Sava Center is not being sold, this is an additional investment in which the partner cannot be a majority owner. If we cannot agree, we will announce a new call in January because the Sava Centre has to be put into the service of congress tourism as soon as possible,“ said Vesic.
The deputy mayor said that Novi Beograd should have its own centre, and that Belgrade Waterfront is planned to be more of a residential area, while in Block 18, on the bank of the Sava River in Novi Beograd, the construction of a business centre is planned.
