Until when can you withdraw EUR 100?: For how long will money be waiting for you at a bank?

Young people have just been paid 100 euros, and President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, has already announced new aid in the same amount for the same group of citizens.

State aid is paid in a bank where there is already an account, but in case someone does not have a bank account, there is also the option of paying money to a dedicated account, i.e. to an account that is opened solely for that purpose.

After citizens withdraw money from a dedicated account, that account is closed.

However, one of the most common questions on this topic is by when the amount of 100 euros can be withdrawn, i.e. whether there is a deadline until when a bank can keep a dedicated account with those 100 euros opened.

As we learned from the employees of Posta Srbije, when it comes to a dedicated account in the state-owned bank Postanska stedionica, it remains open until state aid is withdrawn.

As it was confirmed to us by Posta, the state does not withdraw the money, so there is no deadline for withdrawing state aid.
