United Media purchasing Serbian Science Television
United Media, under majority ownership of KKR investment company, has received approval of the Serbian Commission for Protection of Competition to purchase Serbian Science Television (SNTV).
SNTV is the first non-profitable TV station of the civil society in Serbia, established in 2012 as the project of “Komitet znanja Srbije” association (KoznaS).
United Media, headquartered in Luxembourg, intends to purchase SNTV via enterprise that will be founded in Serbia and in which it will have an ownership stake of 75 percent, while Stanislava Katic will own 25 percent of the capital.
KKR fund is the owner of cable television provider SBB and TV station N1 in Serbia, via United Group.
