
This year, 2.2 x more passengers at the airport than in 2021
The number of passengers at Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade in the second quarter of 2022 was almost 1.4 million, which is 12 percent less than in the same period in 2019, but 2.2 times more than in 2021.
In the first half of this year, the total number of passengers was 2,136,000, which is 18 percent less than in the first six months of 2019 and the period before the pandemic, but also 2.3 times more than in the first half of 2021.
The number of take-offs and landings in the second quarter of 2022 was 16,488 and it is lower by 8.8 percent compared to the same period in 2019, but it is 49 percent higher than in 2021.
In the first half of this year, the total number of take-offs and landings was 27,703, which is 12 percent less than in 2019 and the period before the pandemic, but also 58 percent more than in the first six months of 2021.
It is stated that in the second quarter of 2022, 49 million passengers travelled through the VINCI airport network, i.e. three times more than in the same period last year (and 27 percent less than in 2019).
