They spend almost 400 million euros a year on Serbian goods

According to the data of the Kosovo Customs Administration, until October 15 this year, goods worth about 360 million euros were imported in Kosovo* from Serbia, while export to Serbia amounted to only 23 million euros.

Spokesperson of the Kosovo Customs Administration, Adriatik Staviljeci, has told Kosovapress, a Pristina-based agency, that by the end of the year, if the current trend continues, goods worth 400 million euros will be imported to Kosovo from Serbia via regular channels.

„Over the last seven, eight years, almost 300-400 million euros have been spent annually on Serbian products. This refers to the goods that are regularly imported, while the trend of the increase in the import of goods from Serbia is growing by more than 5.0 percent each year,“ Staviljeci said.

According to him, a wide range of products is imported from Serbia to Kosovo, from machines to the food industry products.

According to the data of the Institute of Statistics of Kosovo, goods worth 300 million euros are imported from Germany, 250 million from Turkey, 233 million from China, 162 million from Italy, 152 million from Albania, 128 million from Macedonia, and 88 million from Greece.
