They are HEROES OF SERBIA: 7,000 bags of garbage in the biggest waste cleaning campaign

Between 1,800 and 2,000 citizens took part in the biggest cleaning campaign „Roll up your sleeves“, which was organized over the weekend throughout Serbia, and between 6,000 and 7,000 bags of garbage were collected, said the organizers – the civic association „Eko straza“.

Waste was collected at more than 50 locations in the country.

Hundreds of children also took part, and the organizers point out that they are very satisfied with the response of the citizens in the third environmental campaign in a row, and they announce that the new challenge will take place in four weeks.

„In some places, the response was up to 90 people. And even though this is not Estonia 2008, I think we are one step closer to that. The energy is positive, there is no collateral damage, socializing is at its peak and the vast majority (more precisely for now, everyone) wants more! „Roll up your sleeves 4 will most likely take place in four weeks and we expect an even bigger challenge“, it is written on the Facebook profile Eko straza.
