The town is „being generous“: Allowance for the EMPLOYEES who earn RSD 80,000 as well

According to the Trade Union Organization of the Nis Assembly, for the first time this year portion of employees in Nis public sector will receive the so-called solidarity allowance, which ranges from RSD 30,000 to RSD 39,000. Although the contract stipulates that this allowance is paid to improve material and social position of employees, it is also foreseen for those who receive a salary of RSD 80,000. After state decided to “be generous” and help each pensioner with RSD 5,000, it also went one step further, thus so called solidarity allowance was approved to the public sector. What has not been the general practice so far will happen, and according to Marko Savic of the Trade Union Organization of the Nis Assembly, for the next three years employees of Town Administration, bodies of the Town Assembly as well as town municipalities will receive solidarity allowance. According to annex to the collective agreement signed by Savic and the Mayor of Nis, Darko Bulatovic, allowance is foreseen for several categories of employees:

– employees with basic net salary up to RSD 35,000 – RSD 39,000;

– employees with basic net salary from RSD 35,001 to RSD 45,000 – RSD 36,000;

– employees with basic net salary from RSD 45,001 to RSD 65,000 – RSD 33,000;

– employees with basic net salary from RSD 65,001 to RSD 80,000 – RSD 30,000.

The only condition, as stated in annex to the agreement, is that the employee has active employment status on the date of payment of the allowance.
