The number of workers in Serbia sick from Covid 19 is decreasing
The latest survey conducted by the Serbian Chamber of Commerce among 1,057 companies showed that the trend of improving the epidemiological situation in the economy continues.
Based on the latest results on the number of „Covid absent“ workers, on January 13th, out of 381,249 employees in more than a thousand companies, 14,852 workers (3.9 percent) are currently absent from work due to a coronavirus infection.
That is a decline compared to the figure of 4.29 percent of absentees last week.
This is the fourth week in which the share of Covid absent workers has decreased in relation to the total employment.
Most of the absentees are in the companies up to 100 employees, namely from Uzice, Novi Sad and Krusevac, it was announced from the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.
