The National Stadium to be built on the land owned by PKB

The spatial plan of an area intended for the National football stadium in Surcin is currently at an early public review in the City Administration, the „Vecernje novosti“ daily reports.

An early public review regarding Spatial Plan Elaboration for the Special Purposes of the National Stadium is just the first step in acquirement of the documentation necessary for realization of this project.

According to plan, the stadium will spread across 35 hectares and it will be able to receive 60,000 fans. With associated facilities and additional features, the entire complex will occupy a total of 430 hectares of land along the roundabout route in Surcin. „This is a land owned by PKB, which has been excluded from the recent privatization of this enterprise,“ the President of the Municipality Surcin, Stevan Susa states for the „Novosti“ daily.
