Tax administration closes 29 sports associations and gyms
In the period from May 5 to October 4 this year, the Tax Administration carried out inspections of the recording of turnover in 59 sports associations and gyms, and on that occasion, a 15-day ban on performing activities was imposed on 29 fiscal taxpayers due to failure to issue a fiscal receipt.
Among the closed facilities there are gyms, athletic, basketball, judo, dance and table tennis clubs, which are located in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Pancevo, Zrenjanin, Nis, Kragujevac, Vranje, Zajecar, Pirot…
No irregularities were found in 30 inspected taxpayers.
According to the Fiscalisation Act, the activity of sports, entertainment and recreational activities is not exempt from the obligation to record retail turnover through an electronic fiscal device.
