Soon a PLAN for the return of „HUMAN CAPITAL FLIGHT“

The Coordination Body for Economic Migration Monitoring will propose a strategy for returning high-quality workforce and students completing their studies abroad to the Serbian government in January next year. This was announced by the Minister of Labour Zoran Djordjevic, explaining that „an action plan will be drawn up with concrete solutions should the Government adopt proposal of this strategy, which could be completed by the middle of next year“. During his break in conversation with students of the Organization of Serbian Students Abroad (OSSA), he said that it is necessary to make such plan as soon as possible, otherwise Serbia would face scenario similar to Croatia for example, when accession to the EU caused a major wave of migrations, and at that point no further measures would be able to help.
