Signed: Chinese invest EUR 600 MILLION in Belgrade-Zrenjanin-Novi Sad highway

Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the director of the Chinese company Shandong, Jang Gianchao, regarding the preparation of the design-technical documentation for the Belgrade-Zrenjanin and Zrenjanin-Novi Sad highway project. Mihajlovic emphasized that this was the first important step in the implementation of the project worth close to EUR 600 million, adding that relations between Serbia and China were excellent. The director of the Shandong company said that this was the fourth project that the Chinese company was implementing in Serbia and that its operation would contribute to the friendship of the two countries, but also to the economic development of Serbia.
