Shops’ opening hours on Statehood Day in Serbia
On the occasion of the celebration of the Statehood Day, which is celebrated for two days, on February 15 and 16, there will be no major changes in the working hours of pharmacies, shopping centers, shops and post offices in Serbia.
When will post offices be open?
On the national holiday Sretenje, on February 15 and 16, 72 post offices will be open in Belgrade and all major cities and tourist centres, as well as post offices at border and administrative crossings.
In Belgrade, in addition to the Main Post Office in 2 Takovska Street, and the post offices at the Nikola Tesla Airport, which are normally open for 24 hours, post offices in shopping malls, in Univerexport facilities and six other post offices in the city will also be open, said the postal company Posta Srbije.
Post offices will be open in shopping malls in Pancevo and Kragujevac, post offices in Univerexport facilities in Belgrade, Novi Sad and the surrounding area, Zrenjanin and Sombor, in „Roda“ shops in Sremska Mitrovica, Kragujevac, Sabac, post offices on Kopaonik and Zlatibor, and other on-call post offices in cities throughout Serbia.
The post offices at border and administrative crossings will also work at the same schedule – 24/7.
On-call pharmacies, which are normally open 24/7, will also be open during the holidays, and most private pharmacies will be open during regular working hours.
When it comes to shopping malls, they will be open during regular business hours as well as multiplex cinemas and shops in shopping malls. Gomex stores, DIS, DM, Idea, Lidl, Maxi and Shop’n’Go, Roda markets, Super Vero and Jumbo, Tempo, Univerexport will also work as usual.
When it comes to city transport, it will function according to the weekly timetable during the two days of the holiday.
