Serbia’s public debt EUR 30.6 billion

In the first quarter of this year, Serbia’s budget had a deficit of RSD 72.1 billion, while public debt at the end of March this year amounted to EUR 30.59 billion, the Ministry of Finance announced.

Budget revenues were generated in the amount of RSD 373.3 billion, and expenditures amounted to RSD 445.3 billion. In March alone, a deficit of RSD 19.2 billion was realized.

In March, revenues in the amount of RSD 133.2 billion were collected, of which tax revenues amounted to RSD 119.4 billion.

The biggest part of tax revenues refers to the payment of VAT in the amount of RSD 69.3 billion and excise duties in the amount of 21.4 billion.

Non-tax revenues amounted to RSD 13.2 billion, and the inflow of donations in March amounted to RSD 0.6 billion. Expenditures amounted to RSD 152.4 billion.
