Serbia’s pavilion at “Expo 2020 Dubai” visited by one million people so far
The Serbian Pavilion at the World Exhibition in Dubai “Expo 2020 Dubai” was visited by one million people, and over 10,000 business contacts were made during the event that lasted for almost six months, it was stated today.
As stated, the millionth visitor was Sally from Egypt, who said she liked the way Serbia presented its culture and innovations.
At this event, which was opened on October 1 last year and closed on March 31, Serbia presented itself through achievements and innovations primarily from the sector of creative industries, state-of-the-art technologies and cutting-edge science, presenting itself for the first time at this event under the modern brand of the national platform “Serbia creates”, the SCC recalled in a press release.
Senior advisor to the Prime Minister of Serbia for Creative Industries and Tourism, who leads the team of the platform “Serbia creates” Ana Ilic, has said that Serbia presented its economic, technological, innovative, investment and tourism potentials in the best way.
“From the revival of the prehistoric man, to the presentation of the first gaming village, strategy for artificial intelligence, top VR technology, unforgettable concerts, attractive encounters that connected us with all the meridians,” Ilic said.
