Serbia opened two more chapters in negotiations with the EU
Serbia opened two more chapters in negotiations with the European Union at the intergovernmental conference in Luxembourg, Chapter 33 on Financial and budgetary provisions and Chapter 13 on Fisheries.
The European Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Johannes Hahn welcomed opening of two new chapters via Twitter, posting that he looks forward to further progress in the rule of the law and priority fields.
The Minister of European Integration Jadranka Joksimovic, who led Serbia’s delegation at the Eighth Intergovernmental Conference, said at the press conference following the meeting that those are two very important and concrete chapters.
